The pandemic caused by the coronavirus has resulted in education systems in general, and the university system in particular, migrating to a virtual education modality, which, although it is true, had been implemented in university contexts, its diffusion and approach were still very limited. In this sense, this research aims to know the evaluations that students of five teacher training programs have about their training experience in this modality, based on three categories: teaching, learning and motivation. The qualitative approach was adopted through the implementation of the phenomenological method, with an intentional sample of 35 students, to whom a semi-structured qualitative interview in digital format was administered. The data analysis was carried out applying the principles and procedures of qualitative data analysis: organization, coding and interpretation of the narratives. In conclusion, as part of their own experiences, students recognize both positive aspects and aspects to improve regarding their learning, teaching, and motivational state.
