I am still learning: four experiments in retrospective philology.

Although, at first glance, Still Learning might seem best understood within the context of Ginzburg's entire body of work (since several of his earlier works, such as The Cheese and the Worms and Night History, are repeatedly cited), we believe the text may have broader appeal across the social sciences and humanities. This is because the author does not limit himself to presenting reflections on his own historiographical work; rather, he proposes didactic research methodologies and questions that can be helpful to any reader. Therefore, we believe the work (focused primarily on history and philology) may be of interest to anthropologists, educators, philosophers, linguists, and sociologists. In this sense, and as an interpretive framework, we propose a review that explores and delves into Ginzburg's most formative aspects, instead of providing a detailed exposition of each section of the book. We will adhere to the chapter structure only to explore its pedagogical contributions, not the content itself.
