The study of human resources is gaining special interest within the higher education field, becoming the factor that gives meaning to this type of organization: teachers. This study seeks to analyze the impact of motivational factors of human capital on the job performance of generational replacement teachers of the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional Francisco Morazán (UPNFM) during the year 2021. A quantitative study will be carried out in which two variables will be analyzed: motivation and job performance, each of them will have six well-identified dimensions. To do this, an online questionnaire will be applied aimed at generational replacement teachers, later the statistical analysis will be carried out using SPSS, taking the non-parametric tests and Spearman's correlation coefficient as the basis of the study. The results show that there is a positive but low relationship between motivation and job performance. It has been proven that job stability and financial compensation are not always determining predictors of good job performance. This work is a basis for the administrative analysis of the so-called “generational replacement cadre” at UPNFM, a task that must be carried out by specialists in the field.
